A few weeks back we were sent this adorable children’s book. Ella who? Linda Ashman, Sasa Sanchez. F has fallen in love with it. Every time we read it she requests we read it again straight away. And for a while afterwards, she’ll be saying “Ella who?”
When a new family move into the neighbourhood, a small elephant follows them in. She is discovered by the little girl who tries to tell her parents about her but all they say is “Ella who!” They have lots of fun together before someone comes looking for a missing elephant.
The little girl tries to convince herself that her elephant is not the one they are looking for but she soon realises it is. So the elephant has to go back to the animal sanctuary. Luckily for the little girl, the wildlife sanctuary is just next door and she soon finds more playmates “Babette who?” her parents ask.
This is a lovely story with beautiful illustrations. It is sure to capture the heart of your little ones as much as it has our 4 year old.
