Home life project May

May 8, 2017

This month I’m using photos from Saturday and Sunday in my home life project May. Weather wise they couldn’t have been more different. Saturday was cold and grey. Sunday was warm and sunny. I started taking my photos on Saturday but when I downloaded them I wasn’t happy with most of them. So I started again on Sunday. I’m happier with this collection but they don’t include the creative prompt.

This month’s creative prompt was little person, big world. I actually read Clare’s post explaining the challenge Friday evening and without realising I’d taken the perfect photo that day. If you want to see it, you can find it on my Instagram account. On Saturday afternoon we went walking in the woods and I took another photo suitable for the prompt. We didn’t go anywhere suitable to take another on Sunday so I’m including this photo above from Saturday. I also like that it shows the contrasting weather we’ve had this weekend.

Saturday and Sunday mornings were both spent at home catching up with household jobs. Saturday afternoon we had a quick trip to the woods. Sunday afternoon we went car seat shopping and then to my sister in laws. We spent time in her garden enjoying the sunshine before having a lovely meal and then making the hour long drive home.

  1. I love seeing these little snippets of life, they’ll be so nice to look back on and see what you did on just an ordinary day. It’s lovely to just look and these normal moments xx

    1. That’s what I think too. Of course I also capture some of ny children’s faces too which I don’t post.
