Living arrows 15/53

This week has been the first week of F’s school holidays. I’ve been on annual leave this week and as well as going to Anglesey for the bank holiday, I’ve taken F to see Peter Rabbit and had a few days at my parents where we have enjoyed swimming at the local splash park and visiting my relatives.  Both these photos were taken last Wednesday at one of our local National Trust properties (Quarry Bank). They always have some great events on in the school holidays and I love taking the girls. This time there were a number of stations set up around the gardens with different games and activities. They both enjoyed a play dough and natural material loose parts one and this one below that was a butterfly matching game. We’ve still got another week of holidays here but this week I’m in work for my usual 3 day week. The girls are being looked after by grandparents and nursery for E as normal 2 days. I’m looking forward to more adventures with them from Thursday onwards.

I love Quarry Bank Mill, it’s so rich in history as well as having beautiful gardens and land. The girls look like they had lots of fun, it sounds like you’ve had a busy week too. x #livingarrows

Me too. I’d like to try a new one soon. Love all our local ones though.

National Trust have such amazing activities set up for kids these days. I think it’s great. We used to be so bored as children when we were dragged around numerous NT properties. #LivingArrows

We only joined last year. We were very surprised how amazing they are for children. We are about to renew our membership, we use it so much.
