Living arrows 24/53

This weekend little E turned 2. Anyone else think time goes even faster with your second? We went to a local children’s farm on Saturday. Both girls loved it but especially E. I forgot how exciting farms are to toddlers. I used to take my eldest on my own (I don’t work Thursday/Friday) but now I seem to spend Thursday and Friday trying to do chores with a toddler around (never a good mix). I think I need to make more of an effort after school drop off to take her somewhere for a few hours. I think partly I don’t think to do so because I’m still so used to finding things to entertain my 5 years old and E being less interested. Does to that make sense? That and the fact school hours seem to fly past in the blink of an eye.

Lovely photo. It’s always so hard to do chores around a toddler! I’m sure they are programmed to be messy!

Tell me about it. She sometimes seems to want to help clean or tidy but this is quickly replaced by making twice as much mess as we have just cleared!

That totally makes sense and its something I struggle with too as Monkey is 5 and Kipper turned 2 in May. The last couple of weeks I have made a concerted effort to take Kipper out on a Friday (thats my day off) and its really made a difference xx

I’m going to try it Thursday or Friday this week. Let’s hope the weather is nice.

Oh my gosh – their matchy matchyness!! Time definitely goes quicker with the second, I am constantly willing it to just slow down x

Time never listens though. How are we halfway through the year already?

I totally know what you mean – Toby is at school now, and I have two full days at home with Gabe but we don’t often do very much. I really should make more of an effort too. I love the girls matching outfits – so cute! #LivingArrows

Cute photo of them both. We went to a local farm of ours at the weekend – there is so much to do there the boys loved it. #LivingArrows
