Today I want to share with you my dream travel destinations. These are places I’d love to visit, not necessarily this year though. Whether you are dreaming of vacation rentals in Maui or climbing the Eiffel tower, it certainly gives you something to look forward to on a wet January day. Anyway here are some of the places we’d love to visit over the coming years along with some great blog posts from some bloggers who have already visited.
Great Britain
Whilst the girls are little we have been happy to stay in the UK. We love visiting Anglesey and the Lake District but there are so many more places we’d love to visit. We are hoping to start camping again this summer and may even use jetfinder to plan a spontaneous family trip abroad. I’d love to glamping sometime soon. we’d love to explore:
Scotland – I remember a childhood holiday in Scotland well, it was wet and windy. However, my husband has memories of better childhood holidays and would love to visit. This vlog by The Michelaks completely blew me away with the stunning scenery (North road 500) so I’d love to visit Scotland again. Five little Doves shared an amazing week in a log cabin in Scotland which looks like a perfect family holiday. Global Mouse shares a fantastic trip to Ayrshire.
We’ll definitely be referring back to this post on the best places to stop off in Scotland.

Bath – I’ve wanted to visit Bath for a long time. To get some inspiration for a short break in Bath with kids head over to William’s world for 10 ideas for what to do in the city. As well as seeing the sights, I’d love a child-free couple of hours at Bath’s rooftop spa. Perhaps we could tie a trip to Bath with visiting Bristol’s hot air balloon festival. I love seeing hot air balloons and I’d love to see the sky filled with them.
Cornwall – There are so many places I’d like to visit in Cornwall. Some of my favourite bloggers have share 5 places you must visit in Cornwall,why Cornwall is a great destination with a baby.
London – Of course, we’ll have to take the girls to London when they are older to see the sights. Lots of bloggers have written a great posts with ideas of things to do such as A London day trip featuring a city river cruise and Museum of London. The natural history museum is another museum I’d love to visit, find out more here – The natural history museum.
Family festivals – I’d love to take the kids to Just So festival again (if we go this year I’ll be reminding myself of my top tips for taking a toddler to Just so festival). I’d also love to try some other family festivals when they are a bit older like Camp Bestival and The Big Festival.
Europe

There are loads of places in Europe that I’d love to visit. Of course, staying connected with family, friends and still running my online business is very important to me. That’s where Holafly travel esim comes into enable me to stay online and make calls too.
We had a long weekend in Paris before we had children and I’d love to go back one day. I’d also love to take the girls to Disneyland Paris. These days out in North Dordogne sound great too.
Italy is high on my list too. We got married in Tuscany and had a week in Northern Tuscany and a week in the less well known southern Tuscany (the Maremma). It was amazing and I’d love to go back but I’d also like to visit other areas of Italy like Venice, Rome, Cinque Terra, the Amalfi coast and Puglia.

A complete dream would be to see the ice hotel. I’d also love to visit Iceland and until I read Monkey and Mouse’s recent post (Traveling Iceland, with kids on a budget), I thought it would be both too expensive and somewhere we would need to wait until the kids were a lot older to go.
Another dream would be to take the kids to Lapland. Here are 8 activities you will love in Lapland. I’d love to see the spectacular Northern lights whilst visiting one of these Nordic countries. I’d love to Visit Lapland on a Budget.
I’ve holidayed in coastal regions of Spain, Majorca and Menorca but next time we want a beach holiday I’d love to try Portugal. Barcellona is on my list but also San Sebastian and Bilbao in the Basque country.
International travel
I think it will be a while before we do any international travel but when we do, we’d love to visit Australia and New Zealand.

I loved watching Dear Beautiful’s vlogs of their visit to Dubai which really made me see what a fantastic place it is to visit with children. Aquariums, beaches, theme parks and more. It’s high on my list of dream international trips.
America is not that high on my list but I’d like to visit New York, San Francisco and of course the kids would love Orlando. Otis and us has a great post packed full of tips for Walt Disney World if you are about to book your dream trip.
As my children get older, I’d love to explore the wizarding world of Harry Potter too.
Where would be on your dream travel destinations list?
I won’t be going anywhere on a plane without reading these tips for flying with a toddler.

Ah, the Eiffel tower struck a cord. We’ve just come back after a Christmas in Paris and such a beautiful place with lots to see. Hopefully I’ll get a dog sitter next time as we could only admire its beauty from afar.
We also love Scotland (did the North Coast 500 for Christmas 2016 in the camper – so scenic… shame about the poor phone signal 😀

I adore The Lake District! It is such a beautiful part of the country. I think Copenhagen and Hamburg are wonderful places to visit with little ones. Rome and Paris are also great destinations in Europe. We would love to visit Canada, do a road trip across the USA, visiting Finland and doing an African safari.
The lakes are stunning. Sounds like you has some exciting travel destinations on your list too.
Great ideas here – I think in the UK we are very lucky to be so close to European destinations. I would be happy to go anywhere at all on this list.

I would really love to take Monkey to a festival this year. I have heard so many good things about Bestival that I think it would probably be the top of my list. Hubby and I would love to live in Italy one day. Its got to be our favourite place. Hope you reach all your destinations x
