Family days out Cheshire

There are loads of Outdoor theatre Cheshire events in the summer months for you to enjoy.
We have loads of great National Trust properties in the North West. We love Quarry bank mill, National Trust in Cheshire.
We also like Hare Hill National trust

Family days out Manchester

We love Dunham Massey, National Trust. Such a great family day out.
Manchester Legoland discovery centre and the sea life centre are great family attractions.

Family days out Lake District
We love the Lake District and visit frequently. Here are all the posts I have on the area.
There are so many things to do in the Lake District with kids.

It does rain a lot in the Lake District but there are plenty of things to do in the Lake District when it rains.

- Sizergh Castle play trail, this is a real hidden gem and a low cost kids activity (you don’t need to be NT members).
- This post is a little old now as I’ve heard Wray Castle no longer has all the Peter Rabbit play areas but just in case they do reopen. Here is my Wray castle, child-friendly National Trust guide.
- If you are near Keswick, Mirehouse is just a short drive away with forest play areas, lakeside walks, gardens and an historic house to explore. Find out more here – Mirehouse Keswick.

Brockholes Preston, is a great place to take the kids. Lovely walks, play areas and they frequently have activities on for children too.
