Little mouse’s big secret is a sweet little board book for babies and toddlers. I’ve been reading this to E for a few weeks now and it is the perfect length for keeping little one’s short attention.

Disclosure – We were sent this book free of charge to write this review. All opinions and photos are my own.
This is a short story about a mouse who finds an apple and decides to hide it from his friends. What he doesn’t realise is, the tree behind him is full of apples so there are plenty of apples to go around. Once he realises this, he understands that some secrets are best shared.
There is not very much text on each page and the illustrations are cute and simple. I look forward to reading this with E when she is a little older.
At 11 months, there are better books for keeping her attention right now. However, I love the moral of this story and I think it is just right for teaching toddlers about sharing and how nice it can be.
