A year of #mycolourfulkids on Instagram

It’s just over 12 months since I started the hashtag #mycolourfulkids on Instagram. I started it without really giving it a lot of thought so I’m thrilled to see it is being used regularly 12 months later. There are currently over 10,000 photos tagged with it. I love scrolling through all the colourful photos daily. There is a lovely mix of outdoor adventures, colourful toys and crafts as well as gorgeous colourful kids clothes. Each Thursday I feature my favourite photos from the week in my instastories but today I’d like to share some of my favourites accounts who regularly use the hashtag. Some have them have been joining since the beginning.

Cecilia is a mother of 4 children living in Scotland. She shares daily colourful photos of her kids. She dresses her kids in the most amazing colourful clothes (and has a very large collection of cloth nappies too). She has her own hashtag too #dresskids_likekids

I’m sure you are all familiar with Hannah. Her Instagram feed is full of gorgeous photos that are also full of colour and adventure. She also has a hashtag that I love to join #wheremywelliestakeme enchanted_days_of_mine This feed is a beautiful collection of magical photos. I love this bright and colourful account featuring her 2 girls and their colourful clothes and toys. Like my feed these children’s faces never feature but the images do not suffer for it.
