Recently we were invited to review Floss & Rock, a brand based in Blackpool, the land of candy floss and rock. They specialise in designing gifts and toys for children aged 3-10 years old. As soon as I clicked through to their website I fell in love with all their colourful gifts for children. You all know how much I love colourful kids things. I had difficulty choosing which items to review but finally settled on a bag and colour change umbrella for each of my girls to use on our adventures. Even then narrowing the choice down to which design was hard. There are so many gorgeous designs my girls would love.
My parcel arrived and the umbrellas and bags were well protected from any damage. They were packaged in a large tube so there was very little chance of the umbrella being squashed or bent in the post. Floss and Rock colour changing umbrella
First I chose a colour changing umbrella for each of my girls. They love to use an umbrella in the rain. I knew that they would love the magic of watching the colours come out as the rain wets them. My biggest problem was choosing a design. At the time of writing, there are no less than 14 different designs to choose from.
These umbrellas are really good quality and well made. They are easy to put up and down and they are safe for little fingers. They’re a good size for both my 3 and 6 year old. We love the design both when the umbrella is dry and even more as all the colours come out in the rain. As the umbrella drys the colours disappear again ready for your next rainy day adventure.

Floss and Rock Kit bag with drawstring
Just like the umbrellas, these bags are really well made and the attention to detail is easy to see. The kit bags are made of lovely bright and colourful fabric. The fabric is waterproof and a nice thickness. In addition, the bags are lined with a contrasting fabric.
Inside the bag is a “This bag belongs to ..” label, perfect if you decide to use the bag for p.e. kits for school. My girls love the dog keyring on the bag too. A lovely extra touch. I love that they are waterproof and also wipe clean easily.
The kit bag is a great size for my 6 year old. They are too big really for my 3 year old (not surprising really as they are for children 5 plus) but she doesn’t like to think she’s missing out so she manages most of the time.
So far the bags have come with us on a few outdoor adventures and my girls are loving them for collecting autumn treasures. So far they’ve filled them with pine cones, conkers, acorns, shells and pebbles. I love that we can fold them up small, carry them in my backpack and when we find things to collect I can give them to the kids. They love filling them and carrying them around.

Final thoughts
I love the range of cute and colourful gifts sold by Floss and Rock. Perfect for children aged 3-10 years old. The products are not only cute and colourful but they are really high quality too. Floss and rock package them really well for delivery too.
