We’ve stayed in a number of family hotels over the years and Premier inn is always our favourite for a family break. The family rooms have everything you need to get a great night’s sleep, there is always somewhere to get tasty food that the whole family enjoys and they are affordably priced.
Premier inn family room information
The family rooms in all premier inns are very similar and include a double or kingsize bed, plus a sofa bed and pull-out bed depending on the number of guests staying in the room. They can also provide travel cots at no extra cost. We’ve always found them to be comfy beds too which is what you need before and after a busy enjoying all the thrill rides at Legoland.
You’ll also find hair dryers, tea and coffee-making facilities, a flat-screen tv and free wifi. The hotel rooms also have en suite bathrooms. They’re the perfect choice for a short stay within easy reach of Legoland
All the hotels below have an on-site restaurant where breakfast is generally £9.99 per adult and kids eat free. The breakfast includes an unlimited cooked breakfast and an unlimited continental breakfast with plenty of choices. They also serve dinner and you can usually pre-book a meal deal.

Premier Inn Slough hotel
We stayed at this hotel a few years back and can confirm it is a great option for Legoland. It’s only a short drive away (15-20 minutes in good traffic) and it’s very close to the motorway network for travelling to and from the area.
The onsite parking is charged extra, currently £6. There is an onsite Thyme restaurant serving meals as outlined above.

Premier inn Slough West (Slough trading estate)
This premier inn has free parking and is just over 1 mile from Burnham train station. It’s located on Slough trading estate and has an onsite restaurant called Thyme.
The car park is a multi-story (max height 1.1m) and you must park in specific spaces.

Premier inn slough central south (Windsor road)
There is no onsite parking at this Slough central hotel but there is a drop-off bay and chargeable parking not far away. The onsite restaurant is a Thyme restaurant. The hotel is just half a mile from Slough train station.

Premier Inn Maidenhead town centre
There is no parking for this hotel as it is in a central location. Details of nearby chargeable parking is available on the website. The onsite restaurant is a Thyme bar and grill.
Just across the road from the hotel is Kidswell park. You are also located a short walk from the shops and restaurants of Maidenhead central.

This hotel has free onsite parking and is just a drive from both the M4 and M5. The onsite restaurant is a Brewers Fayer. You are also a short walk from the train station and attractions such as bowling.

This one is a very short drive from Thorpe park so it’s perfect if you want to visit both theme parks. There is no onsite parking but chargeable parking is available nearby. There is an onsite Thyme bar and grill. You can also enjoy walks along the banks of the river Thames from this hotel.

This hotel is almost 10 miles south of Legoland but it is close to Ascot racecourse, it has free onsite parking and an onsite Beefeater restaurant.

Premier Inn London Uxbridge
At this hotel you’ll find free parking and a Beefeater restaurant on site. It’s the furthest from Legoland but it is close to Brunell university and Uxbridge Tube station and the London Orbital if you want to visit London.
