This week seems to have passed in a blur. The nights have been long and consequently I’ve been lacking motivation in the day. Some days have been busy too with swimming lessons for both girls and I did a peadiatric first aid course. Anyway here are this week’s little loves.
I started subscribing to The simple things magazine a few months back. I’ve been reading the latest edition this week. I love the cover this month. So autumnal.
We started watching Independence day resurgence on Tuesday night. I only got 30 minutes in before falling asleep! I gave up and went to bed only for the tiny one to wake up. it’s not like her to wake an hour after going to bed. Unfortunately that was the start of a bad night (5 wake ups).
I also discovered that the new series of Grey’s anatomy had started so I caught up on the first 2 episodes this week. Although I miss a lot of the original cast, I still enjoyed them.
My daughter singing about Bethanyhem! They have started practice for the preschool nativity. I guess it’s no surprise she has changed Bethlehem to Bethanyhem as her best friend is Bethany.
We went to our local forest school on Saturday. It rained all morning but thankfully it was dry for our afternoon visit but waterproof coats and wellies were still essential. I shared more details about our trip here.
I did some painting with my eldest last Friday. I found this leaf printable and decided we’d use watercolour paints. I also decided to join in myself! I’ve not really made much else this week although I have quite a list of things I want to make the girls for Christmas. fingers crossed I find the time and energy.
