Child holding GeoSafari Jr Kidnoculars extreme

We love Learning resources for well-designed children’s STEM toys. We’re currently testing out these fantastic kid’s binoculars in this Learning Resources Geosafari jr kidnoculars extreme review. As you know we love outdoor activities for children and exploring nature.

I usually take items with us like magnifying glasses and kid’s binoculars because they’re great things to do on a walk with kids as well as helping them get closer to nature.

We’ve had kid’s binoculars before but none that work as well as these. So much so that I think my daughter was surprised when she put them on. I think she’s previously just enjoyed the novelty of pretending to use binoculars. The Geosafari kidnoculars extreme, however, are very different. The vision is magnified 3 times which is focus free so there’s no need to play around adjusting them.

They are so simple to use without dials to turn to focus them. Your child simply puts these binoculars to there eyes and everything is instantly closer and larger. I tried them myself and they work amazingly well and the view is super sharp and clear.

As well as bringing nature closer these kids binoculars are unique in that they have built-in sound amplification and headphones. My daughter loves using these and hearing bird song louder. The sound is controlled by a dial on the side so you can choose to have amplification of noise on or off which would be useful in noisy places where extra amplification might not be wanted.

Kidnoculars extreme is designed for children aged 5 -9.  They need 2 AAA batteries for the sound amplification (batteries not included). They have a neck strap which is really safe for children as it is breakaway in two places. The eyepieces are surrounded by soft, flexible silicone making them really comfortable to use. We love the bright colours which really appeal to children and they’re really lightweight too. Overall we love these kids binoculars and I’m sure they’ll be coming with us on many outings.
