Home life project July

Home life project July

I have joined in with Home life project since last July but I got a new camera on Friday and actually took a lot of photos over the weekend that are pretty perfect for a home life project (if you forget the fact they are taken on a camping trip, not at home). I actually met Clare at Blogtacular last month and it reminded me that I used to enjoy taking part in home life project each month. I’ve just looked back through some of the last years and it’s really lovely to remember the ordinary moments.

This month’s home life project fell on a weekend we were away camping. These photos were all taken on Saturday. The kids were up early (E woke everyone up at 5:45) and in bed late (in the end E fell asleep with our eldest stroking her back and making shh noises, which was just adorable to¬†watch). They loved every minute of camping. We had a day trip to Lytham St Annes where they particularly enjoyed the paddling pool. We had a waterproof sunsuit for E but nothing for F. Fortunately, I’d packed a spare outfit. We finished our day with fish and chips before heading back to the tent.

Hello! Thank you so much for sharing, I particularly love the photo of the little peep into the tent. We have failed as campers this year, we haven’t even managed a night in the garden, which is rubbish when you consider how good the weather has been… something to correct over the school holidays I think! x
