What a gorgeous, warm and sunny weekend we had. The rest of the week has been cooler and more unsettled though. We had a busy weekend making the most of the weather and a quieter week getting ready for Easter.

I shared a blog post on Wednesday – 20 children’s books to read this spring. These are most of the books that we have been reading this week.
Watched
On Sunday we went to a local farm and myself and F saw a sheep give birth to twin lambs. I also watched as F cuddled a lamb and then had a cuddle myself. You can read more in Lambing at Blaze farm.
Made
Food made Easter cards for her grandparents on Wednesday. She loves stickers so I couldn’t resist these Easter themed foam ones. She had lots of fun while I prepared dinner and her grandparents will love the cards.
Wore
Sun hats and sun cream was needed here on Sunday. I also dressed my girls in matching outfits on Saturday. I can’t make my mind up if it is cute or not. F enjoys it though.
Heard
I heard on twitter this week that not one but two of my Easter activity blog posts had been included in a blog post on 10 traditions to start this Easter. I’m so flattered that someone thought they are good enough to include in a post like this.
One of the posts, Easter sensory bag is from 3 years ago but I had improved it and pinned it on Pinterest a few weeks back. I’m so glad I made the effort. The other post was from a few weeks back, Easter play dough.
Some of you may remember that I only went self-hosted a couple of months back and part of the reason was to try and improve my blog as I was not happy with it. Not many people know I blog and I had decided to either stop or make it into something I am proud of. This makes me think I am moving in the right direction.
And lastly ….

This is such a lovely Spring post to read full of seasonal sparkles. Sensory play rocks, I work with ASD students so we incorporate sensory play into a lot of our work and have found it really helpful with my own children too. It can be simple yet so much fun. Happy Easter.
