How to craft these simple plant markers

It couldn’t be easier to create these plant markers. I’ve included step by step instructions for 4 different veggies.

Step 1: Choose Your Base Stick

Use colored jumbo popsicle sticks to save time painting the base color, or you can use plain wooden sticks and paint them the color of the fruit or vegetable you’re making (let dry before adding details).

Step 2: Paint Your Fruits and Veggies

This is where you need to plan what you are growing this year and use your creative skills to make the popsicle sticks look like the fruit and vegetables.

Here are a few ideas to get you started (they’re also some of the easiest fruit and vegetables to grow with kids).
