There are loads of ways to use these colouring in sheets with your children. Here are a few ideas to get you inspired.
After school/nursery – Colouring is a perfect activity for unwinding after a day of learning.
As part of an insect or bug theme – If you are learning about insects that you can find in nature then these colouring sheets are perfect. You might also like to find some other insect printables and worksheets and perhaps some insect picture books for preschoolers.
After or before going on a bug hunt in your garden or on a walk.
Whilst travelling – simply pack these colouring sheets and some colouring supplies in your travel bag and your kids can be kept entertained whilst waiting at the airport or train station or whilst you are on a plane, train or ferry. We also use them in the car. You might like to pack a * clipboard in case you don’t have a table. Better still, these * drawing cases are fantastic (we have an Ikea one each for our kids).
Whilst camping – Colouring is one of our favourite camping activities for kids. Perfect for when your kids are up too early to play outside the tent.
