My own children love playing in our garden, at the park or beach. There are so many benefits of outdoor play and I’m going to share some of them with you in this post.
Playing in the garden is a great way to increase the amount of time your kids spend outside and can help reduce screen time too.
Kids outdoor play area ideas
My kids love going to the park but we can’t go every day. Having a garden where they can play means they can spend time out there as much as they like.
They can play out there for a little after school or on a weekend whilst you catch up with some chores.

Play house
The other thing my children love in our garden is their playhouse. I don’t know about you but I always wanted one as a child. Just like the mud kitchen, they’re great for imaginative play.
Water play area
Kids love water play. My two love a water table from when they were toddlers. Or how about using your recycling to create a water wall?

Outdoor toys
Even if you just have a patch of grass or perhaps a small paved yard, there are loads of outdoor toys that you can buy to keep your kids entertained. How about a football, swing ball set or
