Can you believe we are halfway through the year already? June has been kind to us. We started and finished June enjoying the sunshine at the beach. The weather this month has been gorgeous and we have really made the most of it. It really feels like summer and I hope it lasts. The 1st June was a Friday and the last day of our holiday in Scotland. We spent the day at Portobello beach near Edinburgh, enjoying the sunshine before a big thunderstorm late afternoon. We finished the month part way through our first family camping trip. We spent most of the day on the beach in Llanduno.
In between, we have celebrated E’s second birthday with a trip to a local farm on her birthday and a small family party the day after. I went to Blogtacular where I enjoyed a photowalk on Friday and the main conference on Saturday. It really pushed me out of my comfort zone to travel to London for 2 days on my own and attend a big blogging conference but I really loved it and I got to meet up with a good friend I’ve made through blogging. We also enjoyed a trip to our local National Trust where there was a children’s book festival on for the weekend. The kids loved all the book-themed activities. Here are a few of my favourite photos from the month.
