My family adventures November

My family adventures November

My round up of all our November adventures is a little late this month for a few reasons. November was busy again and we had some lovely family adventures. The month started off with fireworks (I love fireworks) and forest school and ended with a trip to Chester Zoo lanterns. In between the weekends were a little quieter. We had a family birthday party, a walk in the woods and a trip to the Ideal homes show/food and drink Christmas. F continues to enjoy school and was “writer of the week” once this month. She was so proud of herself and still mentions it occasionally almost a month on.

We had a little snow on the last weekend of the month. F actually thought it was Christmas day! This was the day we went to Chester zoo so it was a little cold and quite went as we arrived and left. We were very lucky that during our walk around the lanterns it stayed dry. It was our first visit to their annual lanterns and we really enjoyed it. I’ve heard so people saying it wasn’t as good as previous years but we have nothing to compare it to. This year it was by the people behind the Just So festival which I loved when we went. The girls enjoyed all the giant lanterns and other features such as people dressed as flamingos dancing on roller skates and Father Christmas.

I really enjoy putting together these monthly round ups. So I will leave you with a selection of photos from this month.

What an awesome month November looked like for you all, I’m impressed by how much you managed to pack into it. Those lanterns look beautiful, I’d totally be impressed by them so I can’t imagine how intricate the ones in previous years had been. It’s so sweet that F saw the snow and thought it was Christmas Day, if only we could be so lucky.

Thanks for sharing with me on #CountryKids.
