My family adventures July

My family adventures July

July was another sunny month filled with days out and holidays. We ended our June adventures in the middle of our first camping trip in Llandudno. This was shortly followed by our second, where we went to Lytham St Annes for a weekend. We also a week in Anglesey when the school holidays started and a camping trip to Abersoch. This last camping trip was a disaster. We had to cut our 2 night trip very short when our tent poles all snapped in 40 mph winds and rain at 7 am on Saturday morning.

We’ve also had many days out and even a morning at Inflata nation, an inflatable theme park. We’ve certainly made the most of our national trust membership this month. We visited Bodnant gardens twice, Plas Newydd and Quarry Bank. If only a British summer could be this good every year. We’re certainly making the most of the weather and I for one am loving all our adventures. I’m hoping that August is filled with many more.

There’s also a free 5 day woodland themed challenge starting Monday. Find out more here.

Sounds like an eventful couple of weeks! We lost our tent porch in the yellow weather warning at Camp Bestival and had to abandon ship at that festival! Sorry to hear about your trials. Love your photos btw x #CountryKids x

That summer sunshine was perfect for being out and about and hitting the beaches. Gorgeous photos of some happy times, so sorry to read about the last camping venture, camping is so weather dependent. #CountryKids

what a shame about the tent, we have given up in the early hours of the morning before now due to midgies.
National Trust memberships pay for themselves over and over.
Some gorgeous photos, my fav I think is the windmill one. #countrykids

Your photos are gorgeous! I’m glad you were able to have some pretty, sunny days to explore the trails and beach. Sorry the tent pole snapped. I have camped in the rain and sleet, but never had a tent pole snap. #CountryKids
