Why choose our Winter scavenger hunt printable?
Many scavenger hunts focus on snow, but in the UK, snow isn’t a guaranteed winter feature. Our winter nature scavenger hunt includes signs of winter that are more commonly found during cold weather, such as evergreen trees, bare branches, and winter berries. These elements provide a fun and educational experience for kids, whether or not there’s snow on the ground.
Scavenger hunts are a great way for giving your child a list of things to find on a walk. They help ensure the whole family enjoy walks in the winter season.
The beautiful illustrations are painted by my husband. We hope you like the printable which can be downloaded at the end of the post. If you want another nature walk scavenger hunt free printable then click through for one for every season.

What you’ll find in our free printable Winter Scavenger Hunt
Our printable features easily recognisable winter elements. While some items, like frozen puddles, might not be present every time, they’re more likely to appear than snow-covered branches. This makes it a versatile outdoor activity for kids during winter.
