We love reading Christmas books at this time of year and there’s no reason to miss out on the youngest members of your family. Christmas books for babies
If you love the classic Rod Campbell book, Dear Zoo, then you'll love this Christmas version. Full of lift the flap pages that babies will love to discover what is behind, this book is a list of presents Santa considers sending and all the reasons he decides against them. There is a lovely textured present at the end that adds a lovely sensory element to the book.
The Usbourne "That's not my" series is a well-known series of board books for babies. They're popular for a good reason. Babies will love the textures on each page and the familiarity of each similar page. That's not my elf is perfect for Christmas. There are others such as That's not my Santa, Angel and Reindeer to consider too.
The Spot series of books by Eric Hill are another classic series of books for babies. This series feature Spot the dog and are lift the flap books which are always popular with older babies and toddlers. This book is perfect for babies first Christmas where we join Spot and his family decorating the tree and wrapping presents for Christmas.
This is a simple but beautiful Christmas book. Each page introduces a Christmas classic along with a beautiful illustration by textile designer Jane Foster.
Babies love the colourful illustrations in this Christmas board book. They'll love the large sliders (great fine motor skills for older babies) which do things like slide Santa down the chimney.
I love this series of board books for babies. The illustrations are bright and colourful and each page has a soft felt flap. Who's hiding behind each flap? Babies will particularly love the mirror behind the final flap.
This is a stylish festive cloth book which is perfect for little ones. The illustrations are bold and in a simple colour pallet. There is a simple festive story to enjoy with your baby in a format they'll love to grab hold of.

Older babies and toddlers will love this Christmas noisy book. The illustrations are bright and colourful. The star of the show though is the panel of festive sounds that your child will love to press to hear a magical festive sound.
Touchy-feely books are fantastic books for babies. Your baby will love the different textured elements on every page of this board book. It's a lovely, simple version of the traditional Christmas story that you will enjoy reading with your family for many years to come.
We love the series of Busy books that this is part of. They are packed with tabs to pull and wheels to turn. This one is another retelling of the traditional Christmas story perfect for babies.
We love this beautifully illustrated book of traditional Christmas carols. It includes Away in a manger, We wish you a Merry Christmas, Silent Night and many more. Perfect to share with your baby.
This is a gorgeous board book that my girls have loved over the years. As well as a lovely, simple story about Father Christmas delivering presents there are sound buttons to press and soft textured elements to touch.
